The Day God Died!

passion_of_the_christ

We are in a real war "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places]." Eph. 6:12
For Easter This month I will present what the cross means to all who are within the reading of my blog I plan to call it "The day God died" Please pray for me as I seek to bring many to the decision point of accepting Christ. You can go to this address to read about the "The Day God Died"

A prayer for married couples

When the union between men and women is being systemically torn down by those in government, judges who lack moral fortitude to acknowledge their own sinful nature and honor the oath they took and organizations that wish to change marriage into something that is perverse to suit their depravity. When the family and the moral structure of America is being threatened. May we all pray this prayer!

Heavenly Father,
Protect and bless us. Deepen and stregthen our love for each other day by day. Grant that by your mercy neither of us ever say an unkind word to the other. Forgive and correct our faults, and make us instantly to forgive one another should one of us unconsciously hurt the other. Make us and keep us sound and well in body, alert in mind, tender in heart devout in spirit.

Lord, grant us each to rise to the other's best. Then we ask add to our common life such grace as only You can give. Ans so Father, consecrate our life and our love completly to Your worship, and to the service of all about us, especially those whom You have appointed us to serve, that we may always stand before You in happiness and peace!
In His wonderful name that is Christ Jesus.

I believe

I can well believe that the greater part of what you acgieve will be unseen by you now ans will bear fruit later. It needs much faith and love to accept that and carry on all the same in a spirit of loving confidence. But that is the way, I fancy, that God's hardest jobs are done.
"Father,
Here I am send me"

Isa 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me.

A Minute with God

ione minute prayer

Got a Minute?

Share Your Music

God gave us each our own music
and the world to be our stage
but most of us are living
with our music still unplayed

This gift that we are given
is ours to use if we dare
it is our greatest tool
to show how much we care

"Martin" shared his music
gave us all a dream
his message was very simple
"Let Freedom Ring"

"John" stood up and played his music
the song he shared was true
"Don't ask your country to make things right
ask instead what YOU can do"

A diminutive committed lady
so fragile and so weak
"Teresa" touched every nation
each time that she would speak

A simple comic and actor
he shared his special song
"Bob" lifted up our spirits
from World War II to Vietnam

One song was sung so long ago
that's been shared throughout the years
a "Carpenter" gave his music
that will save all those who hear

Your music has the power
our futures in our hands
never doubt that words can change the world
it's the only thing that ever has

Father,
Today I pray for each and every one on the "net" that
May today there be peace within.
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing and dance. It is there for each and every one of you
Thank you Lord

The five fingers of prayer

Five Finger Prayer
by Author Unknown (Thanks to Claire for submitting)

1. Your thumb is nearest to you.
So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger.
Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger.
It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger.
Surprising to many is the fact, that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all.
Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you. " Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself.. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

My God,
I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong
and failing to do good,
I have sinned against you
whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help,
to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.

Our Saviour Jesus Christ
suffered and died for us.
In his name, my God, have mercy.

Good morning Lord!

Good morning Heavenly Father!

I am very busy today, but knew I needed to stop and talk to You before rushing into my day. Forgive me for being to aggressive at times and rushing into projects that I never brought to You in prayer. I've done so many stupid things and made some wrong decisions, yet You have kept Your hand upon me. I'm so thankful for that. Now purge my agenda today. Take out of my life those who break my focus off Your assignments. Bring into my life those who grow Your dream within me. Protect me. Talk to me. Keep Your angels around me every hour of this day. I will speak Your name with joy and thanksgiving . I will celebrate Your presence and tell others of Your laws. I shall embrace Your wisdom every single day of my life.

Kay has been sick help her to enjoy the gift of health

Susan is caring for her friends give her strength

Terry has COPD it's hard to deal with, Father help him as he goes through these things. And his wife is fighting what we think can be an uphill battle but we know you came to heal and save! Heal and save these dear children of yours according to your divine plan for their lives. For we ask in that name that is above every name. Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen and Amen

a prayer for the spirit of believing

Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have BELIEVEd, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

Mt 9:28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, "Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?"s soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid; only BELIEVE

Father,
you said that all things are possible to those who believe. Pour into our spirits today such complete faith, that what we ask in your name will be granted!

Give us such a passion for prayer that nothing will prevent us from pleading the desires that you have placed within us. We are sure that if we could pray this way, every obstacle would be cast aside and you would grant us the desires of your heart.

Help me to Find You, Oh Lord

Lord,
Teach me to seek you, and show Yourself to me as I seek: fot I connot seek You unless You teach me, nor find You unless You show Yourself.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

"I didn't come to ask for anything"

The chief obstacle to intercession are moral! We live for what we can get our dominate desires are selfish...Even when we do succeed in praying for our friends, our country or the reconciliation of the world we often give lip service to Conventionality... Intercession is the result of generous devotion, not to logical analysis When such devotion come to life in any man who vitally believes in God, like a rising stream in a dry river bed it lifts the obstacles at whose removal he had tugged in vain and floats them off. It's the unselfish prayer that clears its own channel. We put our lives into other people and in great causes and our prayer follow after, voicing our love!

jesus_teach_us_to_pray

"Here were are Father alone with our prayers, I didn't come to ask for anything I just came to talk with you Lord. I have of number of friends who are really struggling with life. And it seems that they have no where to turn and don't seem to know that that can turn to you! I just thought you'd like to know! I am going to pray for them as long as you give me breath. Ok.?

A. S. A. P.

Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.?

Generally we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives.

Maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way.

There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry--
A.S.A.P.--Always Say a Prayer.

In the midst of family chaos,
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest--
A.S.A.P.--Always Say a Prayer.

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather--
A.S.A.P.--Always Say a Prayer.

God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond
A.S.A.P.--Always Say a Prayer.

Today I'm saying a little prayer that GOD will smile on you and send you all of the special blessings you deserve.

"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth"

Besides after you have tried everything else let me try to help. O.K.?
