In 1957, Ghana became the first sub-Saharan country in Africa to gain its independence. After the ban on political parties and the third constitution in 1981, a new constitution and a new form of multiparty politics surfaced in 1992. Since that time, the country operated as a constitutional democracy. Major crops and industries that account for income range from cocoa, rice and coffee to lumbering, mining and small commercial ship building. In 2006, Ghana received a Millennium Challenge Corporation grant that will assist in increasing the agricultural export sector. Pray for wisdom over the individuals that will oversee the MCC grant money and project management, and the ongoing stability of Ghana's democracy system.
Ghana has a low life expectancy rate due to AIDS. Pray that the government will find ways to combat and prevent this disease from taking more lives. Ghana's tropical environment also houses major infectious diseases such as malaria, yellow fever and meningitis. Please pray that appropriate healthcare would be available to those individuals that are native to the country and those that may travel there. Call for united prayer
Jakarta, Indonesia - An intense earthquake hit Jakarta this past Tuesday. Seventy people have been reported dead from the 6.3 quake. Aftershocks could be felt in Sumatra island; an island hundreds of miles away from Singapore. Please pray for comfort for those that lost family members. Pray for direction over the hospital staff that they may operate in a quick and efficient manner.

Pain in the stomach for 8 months. no relief with medicines. Lord please in your mercy heal me. Thank you Jesus.
My pain has decreased tremendously though occasionally I still get. Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayer and for the mercy on me. Bless those who prayed for me.

Prayer to cover my husband and I as we travel this evening to go for my sons court in the morning. God would give us strength, patience with one another, have a unity like never before. Give us peace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment.
The presence of the Lord was with us. We had favor every where we went. We had one of the best times of ever being together. Thank you so much for prayer, please keep us lifted as we come through the deliverance of our children.
